Ministry of Education publishes call for admission to the UFTM through Sisu

The Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM) announced Circular 01/2024 for the Selection Process of the Single Selection System (Sisu) intended for admission to undergraduate courses offered by the institution in the first half of this year. The process will cover the Uberaba Headquarters Campus and the Iturama University Campus.

The Dean of Education at UFTM, Patrícia Maria Vieira, highlighted that the selection of candidates will be governed by the Normative Ordinance MEC 21/2012, in addition to specific laws and decrees that guide the inclusion and reservation of vacancies for cupistas. The UFTM will offer 944 places in total, of which at least 50% will be allocated to the quota system.

According to the UFTM, the selection process will be based on the results of the 2023 National Secondary Education Examination (Enem), with the requirement of a score greater than zero in the Writing test. Registrations must be made exclusively online, through the address Candidates who opt for quotas must accept the established rules.

Of the 944 available vacancies, candidates will be classified in descending order of the points obtained in Enem 2023, following specific criteria of weightings, minimum and average grades for each course. The first call for registration will be made by the Sisu, while the following will be attended by the UFTM, using the waiting list. The announcement of the call lists will be made in specific links for the Uberaba and Iturama campuses.

Candidates invited to register must register on the UFTM website. The university will provide free internet access for registration on its campuses, according to the scheduled dates.
