Praia Limpa Project promotes environmental education in Praia Central

The Praia Limpa project continues to mobilize the Central Beach of Balneário Camboriú with environmental education activities in four points on the coast this summer. Turning 20 years old, Praia Limpa began in December and also includes actions such as the distribution of bags for garbage disposal and the delivery of bracelets to identify children and the elderly. The project is scheduled to last until February 18, but may be extended until March 17.

This season, Praia Limpa once again counts on the execution of the companies Beto Carrero World, Oceanic Aquarium and Parque Unipraias, winners of the competition opened by the city council for this purpose.

The city will receive R$ 105 thousand from these companies to develop the project, with authorization to promote their brands in the spaces of Praia Central. The money will go to projects…

There are four tents installed on the sand strip, at streets 4750, 4100, 1400 and 1001. In addition to environmental advice, bathers also receive information about what is prohibited in the place, such as bringing pets, turning on speakers, lightning. making fire, camping, stepping on the embryonic sandy area, among other prohibitions.

Location of the tents:

Beto Carrero: between the Central Avenue promenade and Rua 1400, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oceanic Aquarium: two tents: one between 4100 and 3800 streets and the other between Alvin Bauer Avenue and 1001 Street (hours not disclosed)

Unipraias Park: 4750 street, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
